Operation Christmas Child

This year our congregation contributed 104 shoeboxes to the Samaritan’s Purse OCC effort for 2016,
which is expected to deliver eleven million boxes to children in third world countries throughout the world.

On December 7, 29 members and friends of Our Saviour’s volunteered at the Minneapolis Distribution Center in Eagan.
The 17 adults and 12 youth had a wonderfully inspiring night of camaraderie and productivity packing the shoeboxes
into larger boxes for shipment to Zambia.  The goal for the Minneapolis Center is one million boxes for 2016, and the
number was approaching 500,000 on the night that we participated.

Everyone who participated would agree that the three hours spent flew by, and by the end of the evening we
were all inspired by knowing what a blessing our work would be to the children of Zambia.

We thank the congregation for supporting us in this wonderful ministry,
and we look forward expectantly to an even greater contribution in 2017.
